Astrong-willed drive to continuously improve EHS performance at all work places, keep incident indices substantially below industry indices, ensuring a positive effect on the ecosphere around us. Our well constituted EHS policy and rules guide each one of us to continuously deliver superior EHS performance. Our Leadership considers even a minor incident or a near miss instance as a scope for improvement. Each one of workforce is provided with and encouraged to use necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and undergo EHS training.

Environment:

Protection of the environment is at the heart of the group’s commitment to sustainable and responsible development.

Energy Management:

Renewable Energy

Installation of Roof Top Solar
  • We Installed 291.20 KWp Roof Top Solar at Ludhiana.
  • CO2 saved /annum (Ton/annum): 329.35
  • Equivalent Mangrove Plantation (Hectare): 9.41

Water Management

  • Measuring & monitoring drive for water usage reduction.
  • 100% utilization of treated domestic wastewater for development of Green Belt, resulting in ZERO discharge and reducing freshwater demand for development of green belt.
  • Rainwater harvesting in a place.
  • Smart Water Meter installed for monitoring of water consumption.
  • Heavy duty car washer machine is being used to save the water consumption
Ambient Air:
  • Periodic monitoring of ambient air.
  • Inside Premises totally paved for to control of the dust emission.

Waste Management

  • Dedicated location identified for storage of all type of wastes.
  • Segregation of all types of wastes, sound management of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes.
  • Adopt the practices of Reuse, Reduce, & Recycle.
  • Hazardous waste is disposed in a responsible manner by adopting various methodologies suitable for a particular type of waste through CPCB/ SPCB approved TSDF or recyclers.
  • Awareness programmes conducted for source segregation and handling procedures for terminal employees as well as workmen.

  • Each line function is responsible for preventing injuries while safety function is responsible for facilitating safety system improvement.

  • All leaders shall demonstrate care for people by conducting safety Observations and propagate safety awareness at every opportunity.
  • All Employees, Contractor’s Employees and others entering plant for work shall be trained to work safely
